Rosanne Di Stefano

TALKS

I have regularly given talks on astronomy, both technical ones on my research to professional astronomers, as well as popular talks to the general public. My popular talks include those that I gave when I was selected as a Sigma Xi National Lecturer to speak at locations around the United States. At the Center for Astrophysics I have given talks to the Telescope Makers of Boston as well as to Observatory Night audiences.

My professional presentations around the world include ones at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) and at the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (TIFR), as well as at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). I gave a plenary talk at the 224th meeting of the American Astronomical Society.

Beyond talks on astronomy I have spoken on gender and equity issues in science, long a concern for me.
